Honey and thyme pork tenderloin

I do have a lot of honey at home so you will find a few recipes here to use it!

Positive: Honey, lemon and thyme make a great sauce to flavour pork. Easy and cheap.

Negative: In the end the sauce is a bit liquid, if you wish to thicken it you might want to sprinkle some flour 5 minutes before finishing cooking.

  • 300 g pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 tbspoon thyme
  • 1 lemon

In your pantry:

  • 1 tbspoon evo oil
  • 1 tbspoon honey
  • salt, pepper

Cut pork into cubes. In a large bowl, combine all the other ingredients.

Add meat to the bowl, cover with a plastic film and leave in fridge for one hour.

After one hour, heat a large skillet and cook pork cubes (without the marinade!) for about 5 minutes until they are slightly golden. Then add marinade to the skillet and cook on medium heat for about 5-10 minutes.

Serve with green beans (or what you have!).

My advice: You can substitute thyme with rosemary if you prefer.
